Leica SL2 Mirrorless Digital Camera with 24-70mm f/2.8 Lens

The Leica SL2 is the second-generation SL camera, featuring a refined design and a mix of impressive photo and video specifications. Equipped with a 47.3MP full-frame CMOS sensor and Maestro III image processor, the camera delivers fast and fluent performance, enabling up to 20 fps continuous shooting, 6 fps shooting with AF-C, 5K video at 30 fps, and DCI 4K60 video with 10-bit color sampling.

The camera's sensor design incorporates a Leica Object Detection AF system, which utilizes 225 selectable AF areas for fast and accurate autofocus performance. Additionally, a 5-axis sensor-shift image stabilization system helps minimize camera shake for sharper handheld shooting.

Complementing the SL2's capabilities, the Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-70mm f/2.8 ASPH. lens is designed for full-frame L-mount mirrorless cameras. Offering a versatile focal length range, the lens provides excellent sharpness across all apertures and focus distances, with three aspherical elements effectively reducing chromatic aberrations and distortions.

The f/2.8 maximum aperture allows for precise control over focus position and depth of field, and the quiet and precise autofocus motor benefits both still and video capture. The lens's lightweight design, due to the omission of optical image stabilization, and its weather-sealed metal body make it a durable and compact workhorse.

The L-Mount Alliance provides a versatile interface with a 51.6mm mount diameter and a 20mm flange distance, enabling compatibility with a broad range of optics.

The SL2 features an impressive EyeRes EVF, a high-resolution 5.76m-dot OLED finder with a clear 0.78x configurable viewing magnification, a smooth 120 fps refresh rate, a response time of 0.005 seconds, and a 10,000:1 contrast ratio. The large 3.2" 2.1m-dot touchscreen LCD offers a bright, clear means for live view shooting, playback, and menu navigation, while also utilizing Gorilla Glass for enhanced durability.

Additionally, the camera is equipped with a 1.28" top status LCD, which can be used to quickly review shooting settings, even when the camera is powered off.
