I grew up working with plants in my parents' nursery, and by the time we started Greenwood Nursery, I had a long history of planting and caring for them. We are a second-generation, family-owned business of 44 years, serving our clients locally and online.

As a business owner, wife, and mom, I don't have time for extensive gardening, so the plants that make it into my garden must be very talented. We rely on tried-and-true plants to provide color, texture, fragrance, and interest in our garden, with minimal upkeep.

Greenwood Nursery can do wonders for your garden and landscape. One of our favorite low-maintenance perennial plants is the daisy, offering friendly flowers from June to September and more tolerance to southern and northern climates. This spreading plant produces white petal daisy-like flowers with golden yellow centers, attracting butterflies, being deer-proof, and great for mass plantings. Plant it in full sun with well-drained soil.

Enjoy fertile soil and mulch with aged compost or other organic matter. After heavy frost, cut back to an inch or so above the ground. Grow in partial sunny areas in hot, humid climates, just as in zone 9. Divide every 3 to 4 years as new growth begins in spring. The perfect addition for both new and established perennial gardens, these plants offer long-term impact for the landscape, qualifying as one of our choices as an investment landscape plant.

Greenwood Nursery takes the utmost care to ensure you receive your plants healthy, vibrant, well-protected, and alive! Bare roots are covered with hydrating gel, wrapped in moist paper, and placed into airtight plastic wrap, while potted plants have their soil secured with shrink wrap and tape.

We strive to satisfy customers with their purchase, so please contact us within 14 days of receipt to sort out any issues with the order. We take full responsibility for our mistakes, but proof will be required for other issues, and buyers are responsible for user error. Make sure you are purchasing from our Greenwood Nursery store to avoid any issues, as you will know your package is from us with our logo on the plant and in/on the box.
